Blog test

by | Aug 11, 2016

I’ll take the opportunity now to write something that is unlikely to be seen – something destined to hide in the blogasphere… in the cloud (whatever those may be?).

My current thinking for my blog is to start off on the negative then move into the positive. Being negative is never a good way to get followers, so while I don’t have any I should seize the opportunity.

With the focus on ‘all things tree’ I plan to post photos with explanatory notes of bad pruning and/or pointless planting (the subject matter is sadly abundant).

Liberty Hyde Bailey is attributed as saying “Plants do not grow merely to satisfy ambitions or to fulfil good intentions” – I have no idea who Liberty Hyde Bailey is, but the sentiment seems to fit nicely for the beginnings of my blog.
